22) Cokes campaign suggests that you refresh on the "Coca Cola Side of Life" and it happens to look like it is in the light. Coke side= Light side= Good side. The Formula 1 ad is advertising for the race in Turkey and everyone knows the association between Turkey and Power so it is an obvious ad. The Water company tells its audience to use what they need and they do this in a clever way by using just enough of the billboard to get the message out and the rest of the space is empty.

The scantily clad girls of Turkish ads signify the Turkish people in a unique manner. Since Turkey is surrounded by a 'sexy' atmosphere, it is valid and accepted in Turkey to have sexy models representing Turkish companies such as Vakko and Zeki Treko; especially if they are to be able to compete with their European competition.
The girls of turkish ads are not only hot, but are also posed in extremely scandulous outfits or positions. This can be blamed on the fact that sex sells. If you want people to notice your product and to pick it over your competitions product, than you must be able to make it the most appealing; this is especially true for clothing companies. Zeki Treko, for example, has some of the top models in the world to sell its line of swimsuits and underwear. The articles of clothing look sexy on them and therefore, it will look sexy on you.

Concerning the Zeki Mayo adds, I don't find it fair for the government to ban the billboards. They might be steamy and sexy but they are not posed in any sexual manner that implies sex or any other act relating to sex. They're just hot girls in swimsuits; something you will be able to find at any local beach in Turkey. Zeki should fight this in court and ask the public if they really mind the billboards.
